As part of their One Billion Trees programme, the Ministry of Primary Industries is offering four scholarships to female and Maori students who are wanting to be involved in the forestry sector. The scholarship recipients will get $8,000 per year for four years for living costs and expenses, and also get a paid internship in the industry. Recipients must be studying the Bachelor of Forestry Science or the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Forest Engineering at Canterbury University. More information can be found here.
